What Our Patients Say
I have been going to Jolie Visage for several years and each time, I have the same wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff makes me feel welcomed, comfortable, and truly valued. Every professional has taken their time to listen and guide me with kindness and expertise. Not only do they enhance your outer beauty, but they genuinely care about helping you feel your best on the inside too. Highly recommend!
I have had the most amazing experience! Christine has been a lifesaver in my weight loss journey. I have a health condition, and before she would even start the journey she researched to make sure it was safe for me. She has checked up on me while taking it. If you have any doubts at all with starting your weight loss journey you need to come here!
Jolie Visage is a gorgeous, welcoming treatment studio where you will feel pampered the moment you walk in! Angie, the owner, has years of experience with injectable fillers, botox, PRP facials, hair growth, and weight loss programs, and truly knows how to help women and men look their best.
Very professional, clean, friendly, and best products — definitely recommend. April did my before photos and made me feel at ease since it was my first time ever getting Botox. I had injector Natalie who was beyond professional — no bruising, no pain. I was offered an InBody scan which I did and Christine reviewed it with me. 100% recommend.
Everyone is so SO super nice — like a day at the spa in just 30 minutes or more, but they take their time and never make you feel rushed! I always look forward to my appointments and I am always referring people to them!
Inviting atmosphere. Natalie is very knowledgeable and makes it a comfortable visit. She is the BEST!!
Love Natalie! My first time seeing her at the new location and I can't wait to go back! Nat is super sweet and makes you feel very comfortable. Love the decorations of the new office!
Come here frequently for my glutathione shots! They also offer B12, B complex, weight loss, and more. Everyone very professional and very nice. The owner mentioned they have a full IV room — glutathione, B12, whatever you need. All of us should be doing it!
Botox Injections
Botox is hands-down our number one most desired treatment, and after 17 years of administering it, I completely understand why. It's effective, but you won't see an immediate, dramatic transformation. It works by quietly smoothing out the facial lines you've observed every time you catch your reflection.
The forehead, the crow's feet, and the vertical "11s" etched between your eyebrows from decades of expressions — whether you're squinting at the Atlantic, grinning during a MarshWalk stroll, or staring skyward while stuck in a Myrtle Beach Highway 17 traffic jam — those muscles relax without altering the essence of who you are.

The entire process is a quick visit, typically lasting just 15 to 30 minutes. Expect a tiny pinch, or perhaps nothing at all. You'll be able to return straight to your office or run errands right afterward.
While it generally takes three to four days to notice any effect, the treatment is fully settled within two weeks. Results typically hold steady for three to four months for our patients.
It is critical to understand that administering Botox requires a licensed, experienced professional under South Carolina regulations. This isn't about someone who merely finished a certification course — it's about deep knowledge of facial anatomy, precise injection depth, and accurate dosage. That is exactly what we deliver with over 30 years of combined medical expertise per syringe.
We frequently have clients schedule Botox treatments during the autumn holidays and in December for parties, photo shoots, and New Year's resolutions. My recommendation is always to schedule at least two weeks ahead of any special occasion, ensuring you arrive at the party with a settled, natural-looking result.
Many of our clients from the Charlotte and Wachesaw areas coordinate their Botox appointments with their trips to the coast. Whether you are booking for the very first time or simply seeking a trusted provider nearby, we will review your history and facial aesthetics to tailor a plan that suits you perfectly.

Dermal Fillers
Often, facial volume loss creeps up on you unnoticed. Unlike wrinkles that demand attention, volume depletion subtly alters your facial architecture until one morning you realize you simply look exhausted. Your cheekbones lose their fullness, your jawline becomes less defined, and your lips appear depleted.
Dermal fillers have the power to replenish that volume. The hallmark of a successful filler procedure is making the patient look radiant without them being able to pinpoint exactly why — they just look fantastic.

We carry an extensive selection of Restylane fillers, including Restylane L, Kysse, Lyft, Refyne, Defyne, Contour, Silk, and Eyelight, as well as Juvéderm. Each product possesses unique characteristics suited for specific areas of the face, and the correct product is always matched to the correct application.
Unfortunately, I frequently encounter fillers that have been improperly placed, particularly in the lips — and it just doesn't look good. Under-eye filler is not something I take lightly, since this area is so delicate and so easy to overdo. I am constantly learning with this procedure, but the results speak for themselves.
Most filler visits take 30 to 45 minutes. You may notice some swelling in the first day, but within one week you will see the difference. The filler will last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, and you want to end up feeling refreshed and looking like the best version of yourself.

Semaglutide Weight Loss
Semaglutide is changing the game when it comes to medically managed weight loss. I have watched patients get very frustrated over the years by other methods that just never seemed to work. Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that works on the portion of the brain that controls hunger.

It decreases the constant noise the brain has about hunger and cravings, making it easier to control portion size. We see clients drive from all across the Grand Strand who have tried other programs without success. Many have been stuck with the same 30 pounds for years, or started gaining weight due to menopause or a lifestyle change.
Semaglutide is a tool — you still need to work on your end — but it gives the body the support it needs to reach its goals. All of our patients get a full consultation, a body composition analysis, and a blood work review to build a long-term plan. We adjust dosage and programming as needed, and weight and nutrition coaching are integrated into every program.
Most of my clients will see changes within the first four to six weeks, though every patient's experience is different. Many who were previously stuck at a plateau for years are finally moving the needle and achieving a sustainable weight.
See our Semaglutide weight loss page to learn more about our program and how to get started.
Tirzepatide Weight Loss
Whereas Semaglutide works exclusively on GLP-1, Tirzepatide works on both GLP-1 and GIP — both gut hormones. This is why clients who plateau on Semaglutide often achieve even greater results when switching to Tirzepatide. Tirzepatide is a newer drug and its efficacy has been found to be very strong.

Like Semaglutide, Tirzepatide is not the right program for every client — which is why the initial consultation is a must. Before we recommend any program, we look at your overall health, your most recent labs, your history with past weight loss attempts, and whatever other unique circumstances may be at play.
We have both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide weight loss programs available in Murrells Inlet, each with full medical supervision and all the guidance you need to be successful. There will be times when you feel stuck — it happens. Rest assured our team will walk through each roadblock with you to get you back on track.
See our Tirzepatide weight loss program page to learn more about how it works and whether it may be a good fit for you.
Chemical Peels
Living on the beach is incredible, but the coastal sun is unmerciful on our skin. Our clients often come to us to address sun damage, uneven tone, hyperpigmentation, or roughness from years of enjoying everything Murrells Inlet has to offer. Chemical peels can help address all of it.

When performing a chemical peel at our practice, we always use The Perfect Derma Peel — a medical-grade formula, not a drugstore exfoliator. Our peel removes the top layer of damaged skin and allows healthy cell turnover beneath to reveal smoother, more even, more radiant-looking skin. One treatment can make a difference; a series can make a real difference.
Depth matters with chemical peels. There are two basic types: a superficial enzyme peel and a chemical peel done by a medical provider. These are not the same, and neither is right for every skin type — we take time with every client before ever setting a date for anything.
Downtime can vary from three to five days to nearly none at all, depending on which peel we use. We recommend doing a series of treatments during the fall and winter, when UV exposure is low, so your skin has time to recover. We see our client base grow busier with chemical peels every September when summer draws to a close.
Visit our chemical peel page to learn more about your peel options, what to expect with a series of peels, and how to set up your next appointment.
Microneedling
Microneedling might sound scary, but it really is not. It involves the use of small needles that create tiny injuries in the skin to stimulate the skin's own natural repair process to form collagen. This results in tighter, smoother, more even skin without putting foreign products in the skin.

We use Rejuvapen microneedling — a very safe, precise, and effective adjustable system that treats all kinds of skin concerns, including acne scarring, fine lines, enlarged pores, stretch marks, and other texture issues. Many of our clients were amazed by how much of a difference microneedling made for acne scarring that had plagued them for years.
The treatment takes approximately one hour, including time for numbing to kick in. There can be some mild pinkness that lasts for a day or two, but most clients return to normal activities the following day. Healing happens over the course of 4-6 weeks as your skin actively regenerates and creates new collagen.
We normally recommend a course of 3-4 treatments over 6-12 months for the best results. Microneedling pairs well with a series of skin resurfacing treatments to further improve texture and tone. A lot of clients combine the two during the fall and winter to have their best skin ready for summer.

IV Therapy in Murrells Inlet
A South Carolina summer is beautiful but intense. From June through August, the heat and humidity can leave us feeling exhausted in ways that drinking extra water often cannot fix. Whether you're spending time on the water, walking the MarshWalk, or out at Huntington Beach State Park, an IV can replenish your body with the fluids and nutrients needed to keep you functioning at 100%.

We offer a variety of blends to address your unique needs:
- Hydration and electrolytes for rapid rehydration
- B-complex and amino acids for an energy boost
- High dose vitamin C and zinc for immune support
- Glutathione and biotin for skin, hair, and antioxidant support
- Recovery blends for jet lag, overexertion, or a really long, tiring day
All formulas are chosen to support your individual need, not pulled from a generic menu. An IV treatment takes 30-60 minutes, and most clients report feeling better before they even leave the office. Same-day availability makes IV therapy an easy win for guests who want to feel human again before dinner at one of the Inlet's waterfront restaurants.
We also welcome patients who incorporate regular IV treatments into a maintenance health strategy — not just for recovery after a hard workout, but for ongoing energy support, immune function, and radiant skin. IV therapy pairs well with hormone therapy and weight loss programs; all of them work better together.
Aside from the medical side, the setting is serene. You aren't in a hospital, and you won't feel rushed. A licensed medical professional will be by your side the entire time, and you can relax while your body gets what it needs.
View our IV therapy page for a menu of IV formulas and to schedule a session.
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement
Hormones dictate so much of our daily life: sleep, mood, energy, metabolism, appearance, and cognition. When hormone levels shift out of balance — often gradually enough to go unnoticed — the effects pile on. You can't sleep despite being tired, you aren't eating more yet keep gaining weight, and something is wrong but it's hard to explain.

With bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), the goal is to restore balance so the body feels more like normal again. Our approach starts with testing so we can see your full hormone picture, which forms the basis of your custom plan.
I really wish more women could talk about BHRT sooner — in their 40s and 50s — instead of waiting until things get bad. But you don't have to wait that long.
Learn more about the BHRT process and what to expect at your first appointment on our BHRT page.
Testosterone Replacement Therapy
Low testosterone can affect both men and women, but it is frequently overlooked — with sufferers blaming it on aging or simply "life" rather than something that can be fixed. Symptoms often include brain fog, low energy, insomnia, and stubborn weight gain. It can feel like you're a different person.

We offer TRT to both men and women in Murrells Inlet, beginning with blood work and a discussion about your specific symptoms. It's not about becoming a new person — it's about being the person you're supposed to be. TRT often coincides with our weight loss and BHRT programs, because the body is not a collection of compartmentalized systems.
Most patients notice real changes within four to six weeks — better sleep, more energy, a sharper mind. We adjust your dosage as your labs come in, so you are never just handed a prescription and left on your own. If you have been assuming this is just how getting older feels, it isn't.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about medical spa services in Murrells Inlet
Where is your medical spa located, and is parking easy to find?
We are located right here in Murrells Inlet, easy to find and simple to park at. There is no hunting for a spot or paying for a garage — you pull up, walk in, and get back to your day. We are close to the MarshWalk area, so you can even make an afternoon of it after your appointment.
What should I expect during my first visit to your medical spa?
Your first visit starts with a real conversation, not a sales pitch. We look at your face, review your health history, and talk through what is actually bothering you. Nothing gets done without your full understanding and agreement, and most first appointments take 30 to 45 minutes. You leave with a clear plan and no pressure to do anything that day.
Does the coastal sun in Murrells Inlet make skin treatments more urgent?
Yes, the sun here is strong and it adds up fast. Years of being on the water, at the MarshWalk, or just running errands outside causes real sun damage, uneven tone, and rough texture. Treatments like chemical peels and Botox help reverse what the coastal lifestyle does to your skin over time — living here is worth it, but your skin needs some attention.
Is Botox safe, and who administers it at your Murrells Inlet location?
Botox is safe when a licensed, medically supervised provider does it. In South Carolina, every injection must be done under qualified medical oversight. At our Murrells Inlet location, you get over 30 years of medical experience behind every treatment — you are not getting a weekend-certified injector here.
What is the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide for weight loss?
Semaglutide works on one gut hormone to reduce hunger, while tirzepatide works on two. Some clients who stop losing weight on semaglutide do much better when we switch to tirzepatide. We review your labs, health history, and goals before recommending anything, and both programs include full medical supervision and ongoing support.
How far in advance should I book a Botox appointment before a holiday event?
Book at least two weeks before any event you care about — Botox takes about two weeks to fully settle, so you want that buffer built in. October through December gets very busy here in Murrells Inlet with holiday parties and family photos. If you are planning around a specific date, earlier is always better.
