It is wonderful to be located near the MarshWalk, but it certainly takes a toll on your complexion. The ocean air, the humidity, and the sun that just doesn't quit from April through October all permeate your skin and take their toll over time. Facial treatments are our way of resetting that, not just hiding it.
Many of our clients come in asking, why do I look so tired, and I am not. The simple answer is that our unique climate is doing its work.
Anti-Aging Facial
Fine lines cannot repair themselves. The relentless coastal sun exacerbates what aging time was already doing to us, and the Grand Strand is not light on UV rays for most of the year. Our anti-aging facial is focused specifically on that kind of aging that takes place from a life spent outside along the SC coastline.

Skin Tightening
When the skin starts to get a bit lax, it usually happens a little at a time, but you will be looking in the mirror one day and you will just notice. Skin tightening can help bring that back without the use of surgery, recovery time, or having anyone else know you even did a thing. We get a lot of clients from the Prince Creek and Wachesaw communities come in for skin tightening services. Most of them are active, and they are people who like to take care of themselves, but they just want their face to look like they feel when they see themselves in the mirror.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is one of those treatments that you probably heard about before because they are fairly common. We use a diamond tip to exfoliate dead top layers of skin, along with any other dead cell buildup that your everyday cleansing didn't get. We want fresh skin with a smoother, brighter tone all around.
This is a relatively easy process to complete. It takes around 30 to 45 minutes with no recovery time.
We see many people here, especially here in Murrells Inlet, that are living a life in an environment with high humidity, sea air, and UV rays almost year round that creates much more buildup than what you might find in a dry climate, and the result is a complexion that just appears dull and clogged. We see this almost constantly with our clients. They may be doing everything else right, but their complexion just looks dull. Microdermabrasion is the answer.
This treatment also prepares your skin to really soak in whatever you apply afterwards. The dead skin barrier is no longer in the way so the medical grade serums you apply will go deeper. That is why we almost always pair the microdermabrasion treatment with either a hydrating serum or a customized one. The aftercare matters.
Your skin will be transformed after one microdermabrasion treatment. Not a tiny, subtle one. The difference is, it's real. And if you want results that stick, a series of treatments performed at intervals of a few weeks over a six-treatment period, then a maintenance treatment every month will get you there. We customize a schedule based on your skin and your lifestyle rather than forcing your skin to fit our treatment plan. One thing to note: skin that has been microdermabrasioned is more susceptible to UV damage, so wear a minimum SPF 30. This is important everywhere, but especially when every day is a sunny day. (By the way, if you've been spending a couple of hours each weekend out at Huntington Beach State Park or out on the water in and around the Inlet, you should definitely microdermabrase your skin. It is one of the best ways to take care of your skin.)
Acne Treatment Acne does not leave you at the end of high school. We have people dealing with adult acne weekly, women in their 40s and 50s who have tried every OTC product on the shelf and can't seem to control it. The humidity in Murrells Inlet doesn't help. I've been injecting patients since 2007 and I've seen the outcome of trying to chase a look, versus just looking like the best version of yourself, which is what we aim for here. Neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport relax the muscles that create dynamic wrinkles, meaning the wrinkles you get from squinting, frowning, smiling, over years. This treats forehead lines, crow's feet, and "elevens" on your forehead. A neuromodulator treatment takes 15 to 20 minutes. The results show in days and last three to four months. It's hands down the most bang for your buck with any cosmetic treatment you can get.
Dermal fillers work differently and we use the full spectrum of Restylane, Restylane L, Kysse, Lyft, Refyne, Defyne, Contour, Silk, Eyelight, as well as the Juvéderm line. We choose the appropriate filler for the area. The filler you use on the lips isn't the filler you would use under the eyes or in your laugh lines or on your cheekbones or your chin. Each of the products we use has a certain application, so picking the right product for the right area is what makes or breaks a treatment. Everything we use is approved by the FDA and nothing is substituted with anything we can't approve of.
Many of our patients between the ages of 40 to 50 can be great candidates for both treatments simultaneously, neuromodulators to relax the overactive muscles and dermal fillers to return lost volume.
