Botox Injections
Botox works well for fine lines of the forehead, crow's feet, and frown lines. It takes a little while to do it, but the results are obvious. So many people come to us from all over the inlet for Botox, simply because it does what it promises.
Dysport Treatment
One of the most popular injectables for our clients along the South Carolina coast, Dysport is a botulinum toxin type A product that temporarily relaxes the muscles that lead to facial wrinkles such as dynamic wrinkles, forehead lines, frown lines, and crow's feet. If you are a regular MarshWalk goer, you know that the sun is as much a part of our local culture as the marsh grass is, it doesn't just have a summer season, and so your skin's needs differ from the rest of the United States.
Unlike the other neuromodulators, Dysport has this spreading quality. This product's protein composition spreads further and covers a broader and more even area than other products and often makes a better choice for the entire forehead. It can be very impressive; in just two to three days, you'll see a difference. Dysport results will remain intact for three to five months, depending upon your metabolism and strength of facial muscles.
The whole procedure takes 15-20 minutes, a slight pinch, and little-to-no downtime. I have even done this during my lunch hour before going back to work to enjoy a seafood meal at one of our beautiful Murrells Inlet seafood establishments. (And others have as well!).

All of these are very small things that will help Dysport stay exactly where you want it.
It's not uncommon for people to come in for Dysport and ask about dermal fillers afterwards. And that's okay. They treat different things. We treat lines from repeated facial movement with Dysport, and lines and volume from loss of volume in time with dermal fillers. Dermal fillers have turned into one of our most popular non-invasive treatments, and it's not a fad. Between years of sun and the volume loss that comes with age, so many things change over time.
